Team Relay
The Team Relay is a team competition over the 13.1 mile English Half Marathon course. Each team consisting of two competitors will each run a leg of approximately half of the total Half Marathon distance, starting and finishing in the same locations as the main race. The course remains the same, starting at Victoria Park, heading out to the rural communities to the south of Warrington before returning to the grandstand finish on Victoria Park running track.
The Team Relay starts at 9.00am prompt on Sunday 3rd October 2010 from Victoria Park.
The race is open to all runners aged 17 years and older on 3rd October 2010.
Please be aware that for the safety of runners, and for event management reasons the course will remain open for a period of 3 hours – that’s a 13 minute 45 seconds per mile pace. After this time a safety bus will traverse the route to collect any runners who feel unable to complete the course and wish transport to the finish.
This is a UK ATHLETICS Licence event. The permit number is 20090243.
